Abstract

Bell pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) member of family Solanaceae and belongs to genus capsicum is one of the most important vegetable crops grown extensively in sub-temperate climate throughout the world. Himachal Pradesh is the leading supplier of high quality fresh fruits to the plains during summer and rainy seasons which, bring lucrative returns to the farmers (Joshi and Shukla, 1997)
