Cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) is a botanical variety of the cultivated tomato. It is a small garden variety of tomato which bears tasty, numerous small sized fruits in clusters along the stems and branches of the plant having chromosome number 2n = 24.
